Announcing TriFury's new Silver Lake Try The Tri

posted Jun 23, 2017, 1:55 PM by Cindy Regnante

We are extremely excited to announce the inaugural TriFury Silver Lake Try the Tri Triathlon in Wilmington, MA. This 400 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 2 mile run triathlon will be held on Saturday July 8th, 2017 at 7:30AM and is open to all TriFury members. Entry fee is $20, and $30 for first time non-member guests.

Similar to the highly successful Claire Cloutier Try the Tri held weekly on Wednesday evenings in Tyngsboro, this unique event is geared towards both novice beginners and those more experienced looking for a practice "race".  Note:  the open water swim in beautiful Silver Lake will have a beginners buoy, giving you a chance to shorten the swim if so desired.  You can also chose to make it a duathon (bike/run only) or aquabike (swim/bike only).  There is no preregistration, on site registration only.  Rain date is Sunday July 9th.

The event is limited to 25 participants.  Additional event information and details including course maps will be released once finalized.

Any questions, please email Dave Tyler at or Kristen Kelley at

2016 TriFury Awards & Banquet Info

posted Oct 6, 2016, 2:44 PM by Cindy Regnante

Hi TriFury,

It is that time of year again when we are getting ready for the 2016 TriFury Awards Banquet on November 13th, at the Atkinson Country Club, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.** See below for Ticket information. Race details:
50 yard swim, 1.2 mile bike, and a .6 mile run.
The swim will be to the first buoy and back, the bike course will be 2 loops around the neighborhood, and the run will be a single loop.

Children may use noodles or life jackets during the swim.  We will have adults and lifeguards in the water.   For safety reasons, bikes must be 2 wheels only (no training wheels).
The fee is $5 for children with family memberships and $10 for children of members with individual memberships.  Non-affiliated children may not participate.
